Summer Camp Coach

<p><strong>Come Join Our Team!</strong></p> <p>TIGAR Gymnastics is looking for reliable, patient and fun Summer Camp Coaches who love to work with kids!</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p>Our Summer Camp dates are May 26th to Aug 14th Monday-Friday. We are looking for coaches that can commit to the summer schedule and build strong relationships with our students and bring a positive and fun attitude each day!</p> <p>We have full days of camp available from 9am-3pm. We are looking for our camp coaches to work from 8:35am – 3:05pm Monday-Friday.</p> <p>The pay will be $20/hour.</p> <p><strong>Your Role</strong></p> <p>You will be coaching! Your job will revolve around helping kids develop work ethic, listening skills, confidence, body control, and most importantly, ensuring their safety. You'll be:</p> <ul> <li>Leading a group of 10 kids ages 5-13 years old</li> <li>Modeling positive behavior</li> <li>Exploring games and activities (PE style games/crafts/sports and games)</li> <li>Promote teamwork</li> <li>Have fun!</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Qualities</strong></p> <p>Your most important quality is that you've got a constantly positive demeanor and want to share that happiness with your students. You:</p> <ul> <li>Love working with kids</li> <li>Ability to educate and engage campers in a variety of activities</li> <li>Must be able to maintain a consistent summer schedule. The kids need their coach to be in the gym!</li> <li>Must have reliable transportation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Experience</strong></p> <p>This job requires no experience, we'll teach you everything you need to know.</p> <p><strong>Fine Print</strong></p> <p>A few requirements to note:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away.</li> <li>Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym.</li> <li>Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes.</li> <li>Ability to spot a gymnast, including the strength to lift and carry at minimum 50 pounds.</li> <li>Ability to move equipment including the strength to push or pull at minimum 50 pounds.</li> <li>This is a temporary position.
