About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
  • Lead, mentor, and develop field staff, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain high performance standards
  • Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, sequencing, and manpower planning
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime
  • Enforce project schedules and proactively resolve delays or conflicts
  • Oversee quality control to ensure all work meets contract documents, company standards, and client expectations
  • Maintain strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific requirements
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce subcontractor safety compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times
  • Perform regular site inspections and ensure timely completion of punch list items
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for constructability and accuracy
  • Identify and communicate design conflicts, existing conditions, and field issues to the project management team
  • Prepare and submit daily reports, manpower logs, progress photos, and field documentation
  • Coordinate inspections with authorities, consultants, and ownership representatives
  • Assist with project closeout, including final inspections, as-built documentation, and turnover packages
  • Represent the company professionally with clients, architects, inspectors, and building management teams



Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of field experience on commercial construction projects (South Florida experience preferred)
  • Prior experience in high-end interior or luxury commercial construction strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced project schedules
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams
  • Proficient with basic construction technology (email, reporting software, project management platforms, mobile apps, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
