<p>Liquid Personnel is working with a highly rated Independent Fostering Agency seeking an experienced practitioner to join their stable service on a permanent, full-time basis (37 hours/week) as a Supervising Social Worker.<br>This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression within the first year to senior roles and beyond. The service heavily invests in professional development and offers a flexible working schedule that promotes a great work-life balance, requiring only one day a week in the office.<br>The caseload covers areas including Richmond, Teesside, Middlesborough, Hartlepool &amp; up to Northumberland.</p> <p>This role offers:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent opportunities for career progression within the first year to senior roles and beyond.</li> <li>Significant investment in professional development.</li> <li>Flexible working schedule promoting work-life balance, with only one day per week in the office.</li> </ul> <p>Caseload: Please note, although the office base is in Greater Manchester, the caseload spans North East England, covering areas such as Richmond, Teesside, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, and up to Northumberland.</p> <p><strong>What will your responsibilities be?</strong></p> <p>In this role, you will,</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for supporting and managing approved foster carers.</li> <li>Provide professional advice when necessary.</li> <li>Contribute to business planning.</li> <li>Supervise Support Workers and Social Work Students.</li> <li>Work closely with other social work staff and foster carers to ensure that quality standards are met in all assessments.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<br><br></strong>To be successful in this role you must have:</p> <ul> <li>A Social Work qualification.</li> <li>Registration with Social Work England.</li> <li>The right to work in the UK.</li> <li>Ideally, prior experience in fostering is preferred, however, candidates with 2+ years of post-qualified experience in other areas of children's services will be considered.</li> <li>The willingness and ability to travel as required across the region.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits:<br><br></strong>The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:</p> <ul> <li>Generous salary of up to £41,000 depending on experience.</li> <li>A company car and OOH allowance.</li> <li>A generous holiday allowance of 27 days.</li> <li>Regular learning and development opportunities.</li> <li>Flexible working schedule (1 day a week in the office, rest from home).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reasonable Adjustments:</strong></p> <p>If you consider yourself to have a disability or require any reasonable adjustment during the recruitment process or within the workplace, please highlight this at the earliest opportunity by contacting our team.
