If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.</p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p>We're hiring a <strong><strong class="textBold">Principal Supply Chain Manager</strong></strong> to drive analytical rigor, forecasting accuracy, and capital efficiency across Nscale's global hardware supply chain.</p> <p>This role partners with the <strong><strong class="textBold">VP, Supply Chain Planning</strong></strong> to translate demand signals, deployment plans, and infrastructure expansion roadmaps into actionable procurement, allocation, and inventory strategies. You'll lead cross-functional efforts across <strong><strong class="textBold">commercial, infrastructure, finance, and supply chain planning</strong></strong> to ensure GPUs and supporting hardware are available in the right region, at the right time, and in the right configuration.</p> <p>Your leadership will be critical in helping Nscale plan and scale hardware availability across multiple global datacenter regions while reducing excess inventory, stranded capital, and supply risk.</p> <h2>What you'll be doing</h2> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Demand Planning &amp; Forecasting Support</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Develop</strong></strong> short- and mid-term demand forecasts for GPUs, servers, networking, and supporting infrastructure</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Translate</strong></strong> commercial pipeline and expansion plans into hardware demand models</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Lead</strong></strong> scenario modeling for capacity expansion and regional demand analysis</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Drive</strong></strong> forecast accuracy improvements through data analysis and process refinement</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">GPU &amp; Component Supply Analysis</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Build</strong></strong> and maintain supply visibility models across GPU vendors and OEMs</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Identify</strong></strong> and mitigate allocation risks, lead times, and region-specific supply constraints</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Lead</strong></strong> supply concentration risk assessment and mitigation strategy development</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Make</strong></strong> allocation decisions across global datacenter regions in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Inventory &amp; Capital Efficiency</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Analyze</strong></strong> inventory levels, turns, aging, and capital utilization</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Identify</strong></strong> excess or underutilized hardware and recommend rebalancing strategies</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Optimize</strong></strong> buffer stock and spare pooling strategies to balance service levels and capital efficiency</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Maintain</strong></strong> reporting on inventory position and capital efficiency metrics</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Regional Coordination &amp; Deployment Readiness</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Lead</strong></strong> cross-region allocation analysis to balance customer demand and hardware availability</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Oversee</strong></strong> new datacenter launches from a hardware readiness perspective</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Analyze</strong></strong> logistics and import/export constraints affecting deployment timelines</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Data, Reporting &amp; Analysis</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Design</strong></strong> and maintain dashboards covering demand versus supply position, GPU allocation status, and inventory health</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Develop</strong></strong> strategic analysis to support supply chain decisions and business planning</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Lead</strong></strong> alignment with Finance on hardware forecasting and capital planning strategy</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Conduct</strong></strong> risk modeling and sensitivity analysis for supply planning and scenario planning</li> </ul> <h2>KPIs</h2> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Forecast accuracy</strong></strong></li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Inventory turns and aging</strong></strong></li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Stranded capital risk</strong></strong></li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Procurement lead time visibility</strong></strong></li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">10–12 years of experience</strong></strong> in supply chain management, demand planning, or procurement operations</li> <li value="2">Experience in <strong><strong class="textBold">datacenter, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale</strong></strong> environments</li> <li value="3">Demonstrated experience with <strong><strong class="textBold">GPU-based supply chains</strong></strong> or hardware procurement at scale</li> <li value="4">Understanding of <strong><strong class="textBold">hardware lifecycle economics</strong></strong> in capital-intensive environments</li> <li value="5">Proven track record managing <strong><strong class="textBold">OEM and hardware vendor relationships</strong></strong>, with logistics coordination expertise</li> <li value="6">Advanced proficiency in <strong><strong class="textBold">Excel</strong></strong> and financial modeling, with ability to build complex analytical models</li> <li value="7"><strong><strong class="textBold">SQL</strong></strong> skills and comfort working with operational datasets</li> <li value="8">Proficiency with supply chain planning systems such as <strong><strong class="textBold">SAP, Anaplan, or NetSuite</strong></strong> (hands-on or strategic oversight)</li> <li value="9">Exposure to BI tools such as <strong><strong class="textBold">Looker, Tableau, or Power BI</strong></strong></li> <li value="10">Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver <strong><strong class="textBold">executive-level insights and strategic recommendations</strong></strong></li> </ul> <h2>What we can offer you</h2> <p>At Nscale, you'll find a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment where your contributions spark real impact.
