We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in supply planning, inventory management, and supplier relationship management within cGMP-regulated virtual manufacturing environments. As a key individual contributor within our Technical Operations team, you will lead material management activities in support of our clinical trials and broader CMC roadmap helping to drive the development of our first clinical stage autologous cell therapy program targeting solid tumors.  In this role, you will own the planning and availability of critical raw materials, including overseeing production planning, managing safety stock targets, and coordinating external storage and material transfers. You will serve as the primary Supply Chain contact across internal teams and external partners for technical transfer and BLA readiness activities, with responsibility for material specifications, bill of materials (BOM) development, raw material risk assessments, and ensuring material readiness.  You will be a vital part of a highly collaborative team working to achieve Obsidian’s vision by translating innovative science into medical breakthroughs for patients starting with our lead program OBX-115, a novel engineered tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy.   This is a unique opportunity to be a contributor in a well-funded clinical company with blue chip investors, field-leading advisors, best-in-class partners, and an experienced team. You'll help us build a dynamic, innovative, passionate, collaborative, and successful organization focused on delivering transformative therapies in areas of greatest clinical need.  This is a Hybrid role located in our Bedford, MA office.  You Will... Core responsibilities <ul> <li>Manage an End-to-End inventory management program through collaboration with external partners (Contract Manufacturing Organizations, External Biorepositories, Logistic Partners). </li> <li>Manage a detailed End-to- End MRP process including the establishment of risk-based inventory targets. </li> <li>Develop and manage a Sample inventory management program in partnership with Analytical Development and Quality Control groups. </li> <li>Support the S&OP process through End-to-End supply planning and scenario analysis </li> <li>Support Raw Material risk assessment and Raw Material Qualification activities as part of BLA readiness activities. </li> <li>Support the establishment of a supplier management program including the development of a sourcing strategy and the establishment of Supply Agreements. </li> <li>Contribute to the development of a formal label management program. </li> <li>Develop and maintain appropriate GMP controlled documents (i.e., SOPs, WIs, and Forms). </li> <li>Manage the sourcing of Tumor Tissue to support development activities. </li> <li>Coordinate various temperature controlled non-clinical shipments of raw materials between CDMOs and storage depots to support development and clinical processes. </li> <li>Support multiple Raw Material and TIL CDMO relationships as the supply chain representative </li> </ul> You Bring... Core Qualifications <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. </li> <li>6+ years of relevant experience in inventory management, planning, or supply chain in a biotech or pharmaceutical company, preferably in handling cell therapy or other similarly complex products. </li> <li>Extensive quality and compliance background in a clinical GMP operational environment, including 3+ years prior experience in commercial or clinical GMP environment. </li> <li>Ability to execute strategic objectives by focusing on critical near-term priorities while building toward long-term supply chain robustness for reliable delivery of complex treatments to patients. </li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, make data-driven decisions, and clearly articulate business rationale and implications. </li> <li><span data-ccp-charstyle="normaltextrun" data-ccp-charstyle-defn="{"ObjectId":"ac0262f4-8a9e-5820-b908-2d943c5f7113|1","ClassId":1073872969,"Properties":[201342446,"1",201342447,"5",201342448,"1",201342449,"1",469777841,"Calibri",469777842,"Arial",469777843,"Calibri",469777844,"Calibri",201341986,"1",469769226,"Calibri,Arial",268442635,"22",469775450,"normaltextrun",201340122,"1",134233614,"true",469778129,"normaltextrun",335572020,"1",469778324,"Default Paragraph Font"]}">Excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills; You translate high level goals into plans, collaborate and adapt to meet objectives and timelines. </li> <li>Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills. The anticipated base salary range for this role is below. The actual base salary offered will be determined based on a combination of factors, including applicable qualifications, level of education, the depth of experience, unique skills, geographic location, internal equity, and/or business needs. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with federal, state, and/or local wage requirements for the role’s location. Our competitive compensation package includes an annual incentive bonus as a percentage of actual base salary and long-term incentives in the form of employee stock options, both of which are commensurate with the role’s level.
