If our team feels you are better suited for another role, we will reach out about the alternate opportunity.</strong></p> <p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p> <p>Squarepoint is looking for recent graduates who are hoping to kickstart their financial technology careers in a global team of exceptional Application and Infrastructure support specialists.</p> <p>You will apply your technical and critical thinking skills, along with a keen curiosity about the financial markets, to support and fortify the stability&nbsp;of critical trading applications and infrastructure services.&nbsp;Step into a career where you can define and implement new processes, coordinate the onboarding of new applications broker connections or exchanges and own the careful management of changes to production environment.</p> <p>Grow your professional skills in a highly collaborative role, while having immediate direct impact, and see first-hand how our global firm achieves operational efficiency and resilience at great scale.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical/Electrical/Network Engineering or a similar discipline</li> <li>Working knowledge of at least one of: Python, Bash, PowerShell</li> <li>Knowledge of Linux</li> <li>Good understanding of TCP/IP concepts</li> <li>General knowledge of database technologies</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work within a global team</li> <li>Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop with us</li> <li>Curious and driven by the challenge of solving new problems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Some experience working in a similar environment, demonstrated through work experience or personal projects</li> <li>Knowledge of financial instruments</li> <li>Knowledge of experience programming front-end applications</li> <li>Knowledge of Kubernetes, Gitlab, Prometheus, or Ansible</li> <li>An understanding of CI/CD or other Infrastructure as Code concepts</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><em>The minimum base salary for this role is $100,000 if located in New York. &nbsp;This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. &nbsp;This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation.&nbsp; This role may also be eligible for benefits, such as health, dental, and other wellness plans, as well as 401(k) contributions.&nbsp; Successful candidates’ compensation and benefits will be determined in consideration of various factors.</em></span></p>
