<p>Eliot is seeking a dedicated<strong> Support Specialist </strong>to join our Brain Injury program which provides high-quality, innovative programming to adults with brain injuries to enhance their lives, develop personal skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.</p>
<p>As a Support Specialist, you will offer an array of restorative skill building activities and support to rebuild communication proficiency, social & behavioral skills, self help abilities, and management of daily life activities. </p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide direct support to individuals with medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities, including personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and leisure</li>
<li>Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed, promoting independence and personal growth</li>
<li>Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations and report any significant health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns</li>
<li>Perform routine housekeeping tasks and report all maintenance or safety issues to ensure a clean and safe environment</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>

<li>Requires a high school diploma </li>
<li>Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults.</li>
<li>Ability to drive residence van</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle</li>
