Peripatetic Support Worker – Hampshire & Eastleigh
£13.45 per hour + mileage allowance | Full-time, permanent | 37 hours per week
Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a role with variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a difference across multiple services?
SDR Group is recruiting a Peripatetic Support Worker to join our teams across our three residential care homes and supported living services in Hampshire and Eastleigh.
This is a varied role where you will provide support across different services, working with different individuals and teams. Your base location may change depending on the needs of the individuals we support.
You will be required to have your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence. A mileage allowance will be provided for work-related travel.
About the Role
As a Peripatetic Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred support across our three services
- Support individuals with their daily routines and promote independence
- Build positive relationships with the people we support
- Support with activities, appointments, and community outings
- Assist with personal care and structured routines where required
- Work alongside different teams to maintain high-quality care
- Adapt quickly to different environments and support needs
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, reliable, and positive
- Confident working with different teams and individuals
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
- A good communicator with a person-centred approach
- Access to own vehicle and able to travel between services when required
Care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

- £13.45 per hour (reviewed annually)
