Sustainability Trainee (HBO)

Are you currently studying at HBO/Bachelor level and interested in sustainability within the hospitality industry? Looking for an internship where you can really contribute and gain hands-on experience? Then this might be a great fit for you.

During this internship, you’ll actively support our sustainability initiatives across Leonardo Hotels Benelux. Together, we’ll look at your interests and shape the internship in a way that helps you learn while making a real impact.

What you’ll be working on:

• Supporting sustainability analyses (energy, water and waste)

• Monitoring and analyzing resource consumption

• Assisting with energy efficiency projects

• Contributing to waste reduction and recycling initiatives

• Supporting the development of sustainability strategies and policies

• Researching best practices and new developments

• Helping with reporting on progress and improvements

• Raising awareness through internal communication and training activities

• Working together with different teams and external partners

WHO ARE YOU ?

• HBO/Bachelor student (e.g. sustainability, hospitality, facility management, business)

• Interested in sustainability and making an impact

• Analytical and structured in your approach

• Proactive, with strong communication skills

• Affinity with data and/or project management is a plus

• As an intern you will receive an internship fee based on €750,- gross per month fulltime, which consists of €670,- internship fee and €80,- expense allowance. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, according to the number of days and hours worked. So one month you get a little less and the next month a little more.

Please note: you must be enrolled at a university or Dutch educational institution to be eligible for this internship.

You must be an EU citizen or hold a valid Dutch residence permit to qualify for this internship.
