<p>Swell Media is looking for a rare type of performance marketer.</p>
<p>Someone who doesn’t need platform reps to tell them what to do.</p>
<p>Someone who understands not just <strong><em>what</em></strong> to do inside Google Ads and Meta, but <strong><em>why</em></strong> it works, <strong><em>when</em></strong> it works, and <strong><em>how</em></strong> to adapt when it doesn’t.</p>
<p>The person we’re looking for has likely spent years deep in the trenches scaling ecommerce brands, lead generation businesses, and B2B companies. You’ve managed accounts where millions of dollars are on the line. You’ve seen algorithms change, attribution break, and competitors flood auctions, and you’ve figured out how to win anyway.</p>
<p>You’re equal parts strategist, operator, and teacher.</p>
<p>People come to you when accounts plateau.</p>
<p>Clients trust you when growth gets difficult.</p>
<p>Teams follow you because you’ve actually done the work.</p>
<p>This isn’t a “manage from a distance” leadership role.</p>
<p>You’ll lead the agency’s most important relationships, mentor the next generation of performance marketers, and remain deeply involved in solving the hardest growth challenges our clients face.</p>

<li>You are the escalation point.</li>
<li>When performance stalls, tracking breaks, or attribution gets messy, you’re the person that can diagnose the issue and build a path forward.</li>
<li>You don’t accept “the platform changed” as an explanation.</li>
</ul>

<li>You’ll lead a team of high-performing specialists and managers while building systems, playbooks, and training that elevate everyone around you.</li>

<li>10+ years in performance marketing, preferably in agencies.</li>
<li>Extensive experience across both paid search and paid social.</li>
<li>Proven success scaling ecommerce, lead generation, and/or B2B businesses.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of attribution, measurement, and first-party data.</li>
<li>Experience managing sophisticated clients with meaningful media budgets.</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills with a willingness to remain hands-on.</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience with scripts, APIs, or automation.</li>
