System Analyst (Accounting, Core Engineering)

About the role
We're looking for a System Analyst to join our Accounting & Core Engineering team. If you understand how transactions become postings, know your way around a General Ledger, and can reverse-engineer a financial system with no documentation - we'd like to meet.
What you'll do:
Elicit, analyze, and formalize requirements for financial services and systems
Design logic for accounting processes - GL, postings, fees, products
Reverse-engineer existing solutions to find gaps and fix them
Prepare technical specs and task definitions for development teams
Work with finance, product, and IT stakeholders to align solutions
Control implementation: participate in testing and acceptance
Own tasks through to production release.
What we're looking for:
2–3+ years as a business or system analyst
Experience with financial systems or financial processes
Understanding of accounting principles, GL experience is a strong plus
Strong system analysis and decomposition skills
Reverse engineering skills
Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders
English B2 — you'll work with international stakeholders.
Technical skills:
System architecture and integrations: APIs, queues, data exchange
Writing technical specs, user stories, documentation
Working with logs and data for issue analysis.
Nice to have:
Odoo or ERP experience
Core banking background
Financial process automation
DWH / BI exposure
Event-driven architecture understanding.
