About the role
cFocus Software seeks a System Architect to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.

- Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
- Bachelor's degree (Master's prefe1Ted) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8-12 years of experience in system architecture
- Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures and microservices
- Proficient in multiple technology stacks and integration patterns
- Strong understanding of security architecture and compliance requirements
- Relevant ce1iifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF) preferred
Duties:
- Designs and defines system architectures for complex enterprise applications and infrastructure.
- Develops architectural blueprints, technical standards, and integration strategies.
- Evaluates emerging technologies and makes recommendations for system modernization.
- Ensures architectural alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and mission objectives.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to development teams
