It streamlines compute, orchestration, security, and observability, helping organizations in high-growth markets like India adopt AI faster, safer, and more cost-efficiently.</p> <hr> <p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Join Neysa as a Senior System Engineer/Admin – Linux System &amp; Storage, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Linux-based infrastructure and storage environments in a 24x7 operational setup.</p> <p>You will work closely with internal teams and clients to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot systems, contributing to high availability and operational excellence across data center and office environments.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll achieve in this role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure high availability and uptime of Linux systems and storage infrastructure</li> <li>Strengthen system reliability through proactive monitoring and incident management</li> <li>Deliver timely resolution of incidents, requests, and changes within SLA</li> <li>Enhance infrastructure efficiency through automation and optimization</li> <li>Build strong documentation practices including SOPs and knowledge bases</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>As a Senior System Engineer/Admin – Linux System &amp; Storage, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Work in 24x7 rotational shifts supporting critical infrastructure</li> <li>Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux systems, storage, backup, and hardware</li> <li>Provide L2 support to L1 teams and clients via tickets, email, and calls</li> <li>Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and problem management as per SLA</li> <li>Escalate issues as per defined escalation matrix when required</li> <li>Monitor infrastructure using tools and respond to alerts and events</li> <li>Maintain accurate records in ticketing systems for all activities</li> <li>Ensure adherence to operational processes and procedures</li> <li>Create and maintain SOPs, KEDB, documentation, and reports</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3 to 8 years of experience in Linux System Administration &amp; Storage</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)</li> <li>Strong understanding of Linux-based environments and infrastructure operations</li> <li>Experience working in 24x7 operational environments</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Primary Skills (Must Have)</strong></p> <p><strong>Operating Systems:</strong><br>Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu, Rocky Linux</p> <p><strong>Tools:</strong><br>Ansible, Terraform</p> <p><strong>Networking:</strong><br>DNS, DHCP, SSH, TCP/IP, Iptables, Firewalld</p> <p><strong>Storage:</strong><br>LVM, RAID, SAN/NAS, iSCSI, Object Storage</p> <p><strong>Backup:</strong><br>Commvault, Veeam, or similar backup technologies</p> <p><strong>Web/Middleware:</strong><br>Apache, Nginx, HAProxy</p> <p><strong>Hardware:</strong><br>DELL, HPE, Supermicro, Nvidia</p> <p><strong>Virtualization &amp; Containers:</strong><br>KVM, Proxmox, Docker, Containers, Hyperscalers</p> <hr> <p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana</li> <li>Provisioning tools like Foreman or MAAS</li> <li>Basic understanding of AI model deployment and fine-tuning</li> <li>Exposure to infrastructure automation and observability practices</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Why This Role is a Unique Opportunity at Neysa</strong></p> <p>At Neysa, you’ll work on mission-critical infrastructure that powers AI-driven platforms.
