About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced System Engineering Leader to join our Entertainment and Connected Services (EACS) electronics team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced Android-based software applications related to in-vehicle entertainment and connected services, with a focus on navigation and location services.
In this role, you will take product ownership, leading technical discussions with suppliers and working closely with Product Owners and developers. You will be responsible for managing functional requirements and driving the integration of cutting-edge in-vehicle technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong technical collaborations with suppliers and partners to ensure project success.
2. Problem Resolution:
- Analyze and resolve problem reports within the domain, driving them through the complete lifecycle to resolution.
3. Functional Requirements:
- Create and maintain Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) for various use cases, legal requirements, and end-user functions across product variants.
4. Collaboration with Product Owners:
- Support Product Owners in prioritizing backlogs for new features and problem reports.
5. Product Development:
- Monitor product status, initiate feature updates, bug fixes, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
6. Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and testers to meet project milestones and deliverables.
7. Communication:
- Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders, including team members, clients, and suppliers, while providing regular updates on project progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in Automotive software development, particularly with Navigation systems.
- Background in roles such as Project Management, Product Ownership, Scrum Master, Verification Leader, or Technical Business Analyst in software projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and traditional project management practices.
- Experience working in in-vehicle entertainment or infotainment is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
Personal Skills:
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage competing demands and prioritize effectively.
- Creative problem-solving approach with a holistic view of projects and attention to detail.
- Strong drive for results and commitment to achieving objectives.
- Knowledge of Software Requirements, Verification, and Validation processes.
