<p>Position Overview</p>
<p>At Noble Machines, building robots is a team sport. As a <strong>Lead Test Engineer</strong>, you will own the validation of our multipurpose humanoid robots across <strong>hardware, software, and AI systems</strong>. You will operate the robot directly to stress test real-world performance, design and execute test plans, analyze logs and data, and produce clear reports that enable engineers to improve reliability and capability.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring our robots are ready for deployment in demanding, production environments.</p>
<p>Responsibilities</p>

<li>Operate humanoid robots to execute functional, stress, and edge-case tests</li>
<li>Design and run tests covering <strong>mechanical, electrical, software, and AI behavior</strong></li>
<li>Validate robot performance, safety, and reliability in lab and field environments</li>
<li>Document test procedures, results, failures, and observed behavior</li>
<li>Collect and analyze logs, telemetry, video, and AI outputs</li>
<li>Report clear, actionable findings to hardware, software, and AI engineers</li>
<li>Verify fixes and improvements through repeatable regression testing</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements</p>

<li>3+ years of experience in robotics testing, systems testing, or hands-on technical roles</li>
<li>Experience operating complex hardware or robotic systems</li>
<li>Ability to design structured tests and clearly document results</li>
<li>Familiarity with testing or debugging <strong>hardware, software, and AI-driven systems</strong></li>
<li>Comfortable working with logs, data, and basic analysis tools</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and clear written communication</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, real-world environments</li>
</ul>
<p>Nice to Have</p>

<li>Experience with humanoid, legged, or autonomous robots</li>
<li>Exposure to AI or autonomy testing (perception, planning, control, or decision-making)</li>
<li>Background in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering</li>
<li>Field testing or deployment experience in industrial environments</li>
