Job Title: Team Lead: Business & Systems Analysis
Reports to: Competency Head / Competency Lead Product and Delivery
ROLE OVERVIEW
This role is dynamic, yet it has a specific focus on DVT’s Business and System Analysis service offering, quality and This is a hands-on, client-embedded Team Lead role responsible for delivering Business and Systems Analysis while supporting and coaching a team of consultants within a client engagement.
The role balances delivery execution with enabling team performance, ensuring high-quality outputs, aligned delivery, and strong client relationships.
The individual contributes directly to client success while representing DVT as a trusted delivery partner.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 7–12+ years’ experience in:
- Business Analysis
- Systems / Technical Analysis
- Experience working within client delivery environments
- Proven experience in:
- Leading or mentoring consultants within delivery teams
- Agile and hybrid delivery environments
- Strong hands-on delivery capability (player-coach model)
- Consultancy mindset and client-facing experience
- Demonstrated servant leadership capability

RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Execution (Player-Coach):
You are first and foremost a delivery professional. You are comfortable being hands-on and actively contributing to analysis delivery while leading others.
You:
- Perform business and systems analysis activities within client engagements
- Drive requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Translate business needs into clear, structured outputs that delivery teams can execute against
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
- Lead by example by contributing directly to delivery outputs

Team Leadership & Coaching:
You see yourself as an enabler of people. You lead from within the team, not outside of it.
- Support and coach Business Analysts and Systems Analysts within the client environment
- Provide day-to-day guidance, feedback, and mentoring
- Ensure consistent quality of outputs across the team
- Help consultants navigate challenges, ambiguity, and stakeholder expectations

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

- Act as a trusted delivery advisor within the engagement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualification in Business Analysis / Information Systems / IT
- Required: Any professional accredited certificate/diploma/degree in Business Analysis
- Required: 2 of the following certifications:
- Diploma in Business Analysis
- Postgraduate Diploma in Management
- Advantage but not compulsory: Any Agile certification
- IBA certifications (CBAP, CCBA, etc.)
