<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">JOB SUMMARY</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">We are seeking a Systems Architect Engineer to support solution conceptualization and development for our next generation of advanced spacecraft. </span><span data-contrast="none">The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on high-level design, planning, and definition of complex systems.</span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="none">Key Responsibilities:</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Analyze technical trade-offs of system and subsystem-level solutions and explore solution alternatives</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Develop and maintain system models within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Participate in defining solution roadmaps and requirements</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Provide technical leadership for spacecraft conceptual design</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Work closely with product managers, solution architects, and other engineers to validate customer, market, and technical assumptions</span></li>

<p><span data-contrast="none">Required Skills and Experience</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience in modeling and simulation, computational physics, and/or multidisciplinary optimization</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Julia, Fortran, and/or C++</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Ability to work independently</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Excellent technical communications skills</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Good written and verbal communication skills</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span> </li>

<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience with spacecraft design, manufacture, and/or operations</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience with developing and scaling complex simulations in either cloud or cluster computing environments</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience with orbital mechanics and trajectory optimization</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Familiarity with STK, FreeFlyer, or similar software</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Familiarity with industry standard software development practices.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Previous experience working on DoD and other USG development and deployment programs</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Ability to hold and maintain a USG Security Clearance</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
</ul>

<li><span data-contrast="none">Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none"> +7 years relevant experience</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":1200}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Compensation:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Annual Base Salary Range: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00/per year</span> <br><span data-contrast="none">Base pay is one part of our total compensation package (base+bonus+equity) and is determined within a range. Your actual base salary will be determined on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</span><span data-contrast="none"> </span><span data-contrast="auto"> Our </span><span data-contrast="none">benefit plans include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan, short and long term disability and life insurance. <p><span data-contrast="auto">This is a full-time position in San Jose, California. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
