<p>We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to orchestrate the lifecycle of our complex systems from initial concept exploration through deployment and retirement. You will apply formal systems engineering methodologies to product management. <br><br>You will be responsible for translating business strategy and stakeholder needs into rigorously defined system architectures, ensuring the system-of-interest delivers optimal mission and market value. You will serve as the primary technical interface bridging the gap between business stakeholders, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.</p>

<p><strong>Product & Technical Backlog Governance:</strong> Own, prioritize, and groom the product backlog alongside the technical systems engineering roadmap. Balance business-driven feature velocity with systemic technical debt and architectural runway. </p>

<p><strong>System Requirements Definition:</strong> Establish and maintain ownership of the <strong>System Requirements Specification (SyRS)</strong>. Deconstruct high-level product capabilities into clear, verifiable, and traceable technical requirements. </p>

<p><strong>End-to-End Lifecycle Ownership:</strong> Drive the system lifecycle from initial concept through deployment, actively bridging the gap between design engineering and live operations to ensure long-term system reliability, maintainability, and scalability. </p>
</li>
</ul>

<li>
<p><strong>Operational Requirements & Feedback Integration:</strong> Define, track, and verify operational requirements (e.g., uptime, monitoring, and field performance metrics) and systematically translate live operational feedback into concrete design updates for the product backlog. </p>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>System-Level Verification & Validation (V&V):</strong> Define the V&V strategy. Author acceptance criteria, oversee system integration, and lead formal validation and <strong>User Acceptance Testing (UAT)</strong> to guarantee the final system-of-interest satisfies both stakeholder requirements and operational intent. </p>

<p><strong>Technical Risk & Decision Management:</strong> Implement rigorous decision analysis and trade studies to optimize systemic trade-offs (e.g., cost, schedule, performance, reliability, and manufacturability). Proactively identify, track, and mitigate technical, schedule, and market risks. </p>

<p><strong>Assist Customers on Stakeholders Engagement and Contractors:</strong> Manage customer’s stakeholder requirements and expectations as well as contractors’ service level and performance.</p>

<p data-pm-slice="1 3 []"><strong>Technical Skills & Experience Required</strong></p>

<p><strong>Experience:</strong> >6 years of experience navigating complex hardware/software lifecycles, operating at the intersection of Systems Engineering and Technical Product Management. </p>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>Requirements Engineering & Traceability:</strong> Mastery of formal requirements engineering principles, including the management of bidirectional traceability matrices using enterprise tools (e.g.<strong> Jira/Confluence</strong>). </p>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>Systems Thinking & Modeling:</strong> Proven ability to read and interpret system architecture diagrams and technical schematics. </p>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>Agile/SE Lifecycle Integration:</strong> Deep understanding of how to execute systems engineering processes within modern execution frameworks like <strong>Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)</strong>. </p>
</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Good to Have</strong> </p>

<p><strong>INCOSE Certification:</strong> Active <strong>ASEP or CSEP</strong> (Associate/Certified Systems Engineering Professional) designation is highly preferred. </p>
