<p><strong>What the role is:</strong></p>
<p>As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer at GovTech Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging top-tier tech talent to drive our mission of building Tech for Public Good. You will be a hands-on partner, focusing on the crucial initial stages of the recruitment lifecycle, and contributing to the transformation of how GovTech attracts and secures the best minds in the industry. This role requires a strategic approach to talent identification, balancing immediate hiring needs with the long-term development of our talent pipelines. <strong>This will initially start off as a 12-month contract.</strong></p>
<p><strong>What you'll be working on:</strong></p>
<p>Your primary responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Strategic Sourcing: Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates for highly specialized tech roles, including but not limited to Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Cloud Architecture.</li>
<li>Talent Mapping & Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth talent mapping exercises and gather market intelligence to understand talent landscapes, identify key organizations, and pinpoint emerging talent pools relevant to GovTech's strategic objectives.</li>
<li>Candidate Engagement: Craft compelling outreach messages and engage potential candidates through various channels, building strong relationships and effectively communicating GovTech's value proposition and mission.</li>
<li>Pipeline Development: Proactively build and nurture robust talent pipelines for both immediate hiring needs and future critical roles, ensuring a continuous flow of qualified candidates.</li>
<li>Collaboration & Partnership: Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand specific role requirements, team dynamics, and strategic priorities, translating these into effective sourcing plans.</li>
<li>Process Optimization: Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing processes, tools, and systems, leveraging data and insights to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and overall recruitment effectiveness.</li>
<li>Employer Branding: Act as an ambassador for GovTech, promoting our unique culture, values (Agile, Bold, Collaborative), and the impact of working on projects that serve the public good.</li>

<p>The ideal candidate will possess:</p>
<ul>
<li>Proven Sourcing Expertise: A solid track record in talent sourcing, preferably within the technology sector, with demonstrated success in identifying and engaging candidates for niche and hard-to-fill roles.</li>
<li>Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of various tech domains and roles (e.g., software development, product management, design, data engineering, cybersecurity etc) to effectively identify and assess relevant talent.</li>
<li>Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically about talent acquisition challenges and develop creative, data-driven sourcing solutions.</li>
<li>Communication & Influence: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and influence potential candidates.</li>
<li>Stakeholder Management: Experience working effectively with hiring managers and internal stakeholders, providing insights and guiding them through the sourcing process.</li>
<li>Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in using various sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other online databases and social media channels.</li>
<li>Data-Driven Approach: A commitment to using data and metrics to inform sourcing strategies, track performance, and report on key talent insights.</li>
<li>Alignment with GovTech Values: A genuine interest in GovTech's mission of Tech for Public Good and an embodiment of our Agile, Bold, and Collaborative values.</li>
<li>Project Management Skills: Ability to lead or contribute to projects aimed at enhancing recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.</li>
