<h3>About One Acre Fund</h3> <p>Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. Our team in Tanzania is headquartered in Iringa and supported by three smaller offices—Mbeya and Njombe in the southern highlands, and Moshi in the north where the team is focused on expanding our services to new clients. One Acre Fund works in select areas in the Iringa and Mbeya regions, with a growing presence in the country’s north</p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>Seeking an exceptional Regional Program Coordinator with at least 2 years of experience to lead &amp; execute our farmer-facing program at the regional level</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <p>Farmer Engagement and Market Access Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate farmer-facing market access activities in assigned areas, in line with program strategy.</li> <li>Work with farmers, farmer groups, and cooperatives to strengthen market participation and commercial readiness.</li> <li>Identify field-level barriers to market access and support practical solutions.</li> </ul> <p>Aggregation, Quality, and Market Linkages</p> <ul> <li>Support aggregation, quality control, and post-harvest handling to improve market readiness.</li> <li>Coordinate linkages between farmers and buyers, processors, or other off-takers.</li> <li>Help align farmer supply with market requirements on quality, timing, and volume.</li> </ul> <p>Training and Capability Building</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate farmer training on quality standards, post-harvest practices, collective marketing, and basic business skills.</li> <li>Support inclusion of youth, women, and underserved farmers in market access activities.</li> </ul> <p>Processing and Value Addition Support</p> <ul> <li>Provide ad hoc support to processing and value addition activities when required.</li> <li>Coordinate farmer-side supply and field-to-processing linkages as needed.</li> </ul> <p>Cross-functional Coordination and Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the Market Access Specialist and relevant teams including Extension, Logistics, MEL, Procurement, and BizOps.</li> <li>Track implementation progress, key results, and field insights, and share updates with the line manager.</li> <li>Support temporary staff or data collectors where needed and ensure quality of data and execution.</li> </ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or senior leadership, as required.</li> </ul> <h3>Career Growth and Development</h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We have a strong culture of constant learning and we invest in developing our people.
