Senior Tax Accountant

Description

 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. 

Responsibilities   

• Prepare and file tax returns and documentation, including transfer pricing reports with outsourced consultants
  
• Analyze tax implications of cross-border operations and advise management on tax-efficient structures
• Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities on international tax matters
• Assist in audits, both internal and external, related to tax issues
• Monitor and interpret new international tax legislation, assessing its impact on the company
• Support the development and implementation of tax policies and controls
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for tax audits and statutory compliance purposes
• Provide support in financial reporting related to taxes under IFRS
• Assist in special projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion
• Participate in the preparation and review of consolidated tax reports and financial statements for group entities
• Ensure intercompany transactions are accurately documented and reflected in consolidated reports
• Coordinate with finance teams in other jurisdictions to ensure timely and accurate tax consolidation and reporting
• Review and provide tax-related input on company sales and acquisition contracts to identify risks, ensure compliance, and optimize tax outcomes

 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or ACCA is an advantage)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tax
• Excellent knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian
  
• Strong knowledge of Corporate, Income, VAT Tax regulations, IFRS related to tax reporting
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in managing and interpreting large volumes of financial data
• Time management and the ability to meet deadlines
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Understanding of consolidated accounting and reporting processes
• Ability to interpret and provide guidance on complex tax aspects of business contracts
