What the Role Involves
Preparing and reviewing company tax returns
Reviewing tax computations
Preparing and reviewing tax refund and shareholder registration forms
Processing tax-related documentation, including:
Double tax relief certificates
Tax compliance certificates
Tax residence certificates
Preparing FATCA, CRS, and other DAC-related forms
Supporting tax planning activities, including estimates and more complex client planning
Assisting in advising clients on Maltese tax implications and international tax developments
Liaising with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration on matters of interpretation
Supporting tax due diligence assignments
Contributing to the development of new work within the tax team
Assisting with the preparation of technical publications
Candidate Profile
Minimum of 3 years of relevant tax experience
Master’s degree in Accountancy, fully ACCA-qualified, or in the final stages of qualification
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Assertive with strong attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Fluent in English
