Underwriting
- Quoting, project‑managing and underwriting tax liability insurance policies.
- Structuring and negotiating bespoke policies with brokers and lawyers in the US and internationally.
- Building strong relationships to win new business from key market stakeholders.
- Assessing and pricing risks—including tax law applicability, technical positions, and likelihood of successful defence if challenged.
- Ensuring full compliance with underwriting guidelines, binding authorities and internal control standards.
Client & Broker Management
- Responding proactively and professionally to tax liability enquiries.
- Developing strong relationships with brokers, clients, lawyers and other stakeholders.
- Identifying cross‑sell opportunities across CFC’s wider product suite.
- Leveraging networking opportunities to support continued business growth.
About you
- Commercially minded with the confidence to negotiate bespoke, high‑value deals.
- Comfortable developing relationships quickly and credibly with senior stakeholders.
- Able to balance technical expertise with sound commercial judgement.
- A proactive problem‑solver who enjoys a fast‑paced, intellectually stimulating environment.
