Senior Taxation Manager

The Senior Taxation Manager at Nawy Real Estate is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the company’s entire taxation function. This position involves managing tax compliance, tax planning, and risk management while ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the taxation team, providing strategic guidance and oversight.
• Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations at local, national, and international levels.
• Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns and tax provision calculations.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and consultants.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
• Advise senior management and stakeholders on tax implications of business decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and controls.
• Identify tax risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare detailed tax reports and presentations for executive leadership.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced tax certification highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in taxation, with substantial experience in a managerial or senior managerial role.
• Deep knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, preferably within the real estate industry.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing tax strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tax software, financial systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
