TE - 40 - SAP BTP development – Fiori and CAP Applications

OVERVIEW

An experienced SAP BTP Developer who knows how to create SAP Fiori applications using the CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the CAP model.

• Design SAP solutions to meet business needs using SAP BTP services.

• Work with other teams to understand business requirements and build technical solutions that match those needs.

• Integrate Fiori apps with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems using OData and REST services.

• Use SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Extension Suite to create scalable applications.

• Test, debug, and optimize applications to ensure they work well.

• Collaborate with other developers to improve the quality of the code and development process.

• Stay updated on new SAP technologies and features and apply them to your work.

1. A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

2. At least 3 years of experience developing SAP BTP applications, especially Fiori and CAP apps.

3. Strong understanding of SAP Fiori design principles.

4. Experience with SAP BTP services like SAP HANA Cloud, Extension Suite, and Integration Suite.

5. Skills in using the CAP model and Node.js for development.

6. Experience with SAP Cloud Application Studio, SAP Web IDE, or Business Application Studio (BAS).

7. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Gateway, and OData services.

8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to fix complex technical issues.

9. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Nice to have

1. SAP certification in BTP, Fiori, or similar technologies.

2. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methods.

3. Familiarity with SAP UI5 and JavaScript.

4. Experience with DevOps tools and practices, like continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
