<p>Join Our AoPS Academy as a Math and Language Arts<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Teaching Assistant!</p> <p>Are you enthusiastic about supporting student learning and helping create an engaging, collaborative classroom environment? We have the perfect opportunity for you!</p> <p><strong>The Teaching Assistant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Support Instruction:</strong> Assist instructors with company-created curriculum and materials, helping advanced students grasp complex concepts.</li> <li><strong>Student Support: </strong>Work one-on-one with students during class activities and provide additional help when needed.</li> <li><strong>Classroom Management:</strong> Help maintain an organized learning environment and assist in managing up to 16 students.</li> <li><strong>Assignment Support:</strong> Assist with grading and providing constructive feedback on student work.</li> <li><strong>Build Relationships</strong>: Connect with students and staff members to encourage their learning journey and academic growth.</li> <li><strong>Foster Learning:</strong> Help create an environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Ideal Candidate has:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be 16 years old or older</li> <li>Possess strong math and language arts skills with the ability to help students navigate advanced concepts</li> <li>Experience with/interest in working with younger students strongly preferred</li> <li>Exceptional written and spoken communication</li> <li>Positive and encouraging attitude that helps students feel comfortable asking questions&nbsp;</li> <li>Detail-oriented and organized</li> <li>Familiarity with the AoPS curriculum is not required, but a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>Not Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior teaching experience or education coursework is not required for this position.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Schedule (Academic Year)</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>AoPS Academy is an afterschool program with classes in the evenings and on weekends.
