About the role
<p>Aimé Leon Dore is looking for a Team Lead to join the team in Los Angeles reporting directly to Retail Management. This position will be responsible for delivering a premium customer experience, a premium employee experience and implementing programs & processes to ensure the successful operation of the LA Flagship. </p>
<p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li><em>Sales & Experience:</em> </li>
<ul>
<li>Delivers exceptional customer service at all times.</li>
<li>Take Lead on hosting VIP clients.</li>
<li>Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times while referencing checklists daily. (cleanliness, smell, sound & appearance)</li>
<li>Ensure that the Brand Ethos is protected as well as spoken about in the correct manner across the sales floor.</li>
<li>Handling difficult customer interactions in a responsible, educated manner.</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong> </strong><em>Operations:</em> </li>
<ul>
<li>Upholds order and structure of Retail Team and supervises the sales floor as needed.</li>
<li>Responsible for upholding brand language, styling guidelines, and all Aimé Leon Dore Values.</li>
<li>Delivery of daily performance reports to senior management team. (DOR,SM,ASM)</li>
<li>Implement cross-training of employees and assist managers to maintain productivity at all times</li>
<li>Assist Management with the overall store operation and environment to achieve sales, service and customer satisfaction goals.</li>
<li>Monitor all lunch breaks to ensure the store is not vulnerable when associates are on break.</li>
<li>Review and evolve existing processes to improve operational efficiencies.</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><em>Door Host:</em> </li>
<ul>
<li>Be a brand ambassador at the door and exhibit a friendly and outgoing attitude whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience.</li>
<li>Manage store traffic and communicate with customers at the door about our virtual queue. </li>
</ul>
</ul>
<p><em>Retail Training / Continuous Improvement:</em></p>
<ul>
<ul>
<li>Exhibit a high degree of professional maturity and lead by example.</li>
<li>Create team spirit and cultivate an environment where team members are recognized as valued contributors to the overall success of the flagship.</li>
<li>Provide guidance and feedback to help associates strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>A Bachelor's Degree and/or 1 years retail experience, or 3 years retail experience in lieu of a degree.</li>
<li>A minimum of 2 years experience in Retail.</li>
<li>Experience with retail operations, planning and sales strategy.</li>
<li>Extensive experience and abilities to lead the delivery of high level customer service.</li>
<li>Above average communication, collaboration and delegation skills as well as good decision making abilities in high pressure situations.</li>
<li>Ability to build, lead and manage high performing teams.</li>
<li>Ability to support conflict resolution, employee coaching and counseling. </li>
</ul>
