Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of operations professionals responsible for the execution and settlement of equity trades across multiple markets
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all trade-related activities, including trade confirmation, settlement, and corporate actions
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and procedures to optimize team performance and client satisfaction
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and professional development
• Collaborate with other teams, such as trading, compliance, and risk management, to ensure seamless operations
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures

 

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar operations role, preferably in the financial services industry
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Strong understanding of equity trading and settlement processes, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in using relevant technology and systems to support operations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
