You'll define architecture, code hand in hand with agents, review code, and deliver solutions that exceed industry standards.</p> <p>You will be immersing yourself in a contemporary data stack environment. While familiarity with tools like dbt, Snowflake, and BigQuery are vital, your ability to draw from broad experiences will be paramount.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <p>Technical Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Be the go-to expert in the room of how we are going to implement the solution</li> <li>Articulate and defend your recommendations</li> <li>Doing what it takes to move the project toward its goals</li> <li>Anticipate future problems and proactively mitigating them</li> </ul> <p>Create Solutions</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate and document a client’s current systems</li> <li>Helping clients to realize their strategy and define their future roadmap</li> <li>Design and recommend new systems architecture</li> <li>Design the data architecture based on business requirements</li> <li>Design custom engineering integrations and solutions</li> </ul> <p>Hands On Execution</p> <ul> <li>Build complex dbt implementations following medallion architecture patterns</li> <li>Design and implement model contracts, versioning strategies, and frameworks</li> <li>Conduct rigorous code reviews ensuring quality and testing coverage</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Need:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Expert-level dbt proficiency: </strong>Complex modeling, macros, testing strategies, model contracts, state comparison, and performance optimization</li> <li><strong>Deep cloud data warehouse experience: </strong>Extensive hands-on work with Snowflake AND BigQuery, including architecture, optimization, and advanced features</li> <li><strong>Advanced SQL mastery</strong>: Query optimization, complex transformations, and performance troubleshooting</li> <li><strong>Git proficiency: </strong>Branching strategies, PR workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development practices</li> <li><strong>Systems architecture: </strong>Proven experience designing and implementing scalable cloud-based data solutions</li> <li><strong>Modern ELT architecture: </strong>Solid understanding of medallion architecture and evolving best practices</li> <li><strong>Prompt engineering:</strong> Experience crafting detailed, effective prompts for LLMs</li> <li><strong>AI Experience:</strong> understanding of top models and how to effectively implement them in development workflows.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to quickly assess, strategize, and resolve high-stakes situations with calm precision and efficiency</li> <li>Inquisitive with an attention to detail and ability to ask the right questions at the right time</li> <li>Independently organized; self-starter; ability to work with minimal direction</li> <li>Good communication / client facing skills / ability to work in a team environment</li> <li>Enjoy learning new tools to better solve new challenges</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>We love working with people who like to laugh, smile and joke around.</p> <p>We provide rapid career advancement, exposure to a huge range of business challenges, amazing clients and competitive compensation.&nbsp;</p> <p>We are 100% Remote.
