Technical Development Manager (m/f/d)

As we navigate this transformative journey, we are actively looking to reinforce our team with a&nbsp;<strong>Technical Development Manager (m/f/d) </strong>for our Hamburg or Düsseldorf office. In this role, you will be responsible for technical due diligence, elaborating new building design and refreshment concepts for existing properties, building permit application processes, tendering infrastructure and construction works and end-to-end management of technical execution.</p> <p>More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to</p> <ul> <li>Participation in the development of product and usage concepts as well as feasibility studies for new developments or portfolio upgrade projects;</li> <li>Technical lead on the technical design for new buildings (e.g. multi-level logistics) or refurbishment concepts.</li> <li>Assess the technical potential of landbank opportunities and existing assets;</li> <li>Performing technical and environmental due diligences on to be acquired brownfield sites;</li> <li>Lead the building design process in collaboration with customers, architects, advisors and other stakeholders; Advising clients on the best possible technical solution for project;</li> <li>Drive the permitting process, including supervision of all required documentation, negotiating with local authorities in this regard, with the overall aim to secure permits as effectively as possible;</li> <li>Lead contractor tendering including contract negotiation and manage construction projects end-to-end cross over Germany;</li> <li>Prepare all technical documentation and specifications as well as cost estimates to be used during the commercial process;</li> <li>Support all power and energy related works, including upgrading of grid connections and roll-out of new energy infrastructure (batteries, PV, EV charging etc);</li> <li>Close internal collaboration with all relevant business units, such as: Business Development, Legal Department, Transaction and Asset Management Team, Fund management etc.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Do you recognize yourself?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Holding a Master degree as civil engineer (construction) or equivalent based on experience;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience of at least five years in managing, advising or engineering large scale and complex construction projects;</li> <li>Experience on power, energy or utility projects is a plus;</li> <li>Combine technical expertise and strong project management skills, ability to coordinate and work on several projects simultaneously;</li> <li>Self-propelled entrepreneur and deal-maker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
