Technical Lead (ETL / Talend / Snowflake / SQL)

📍 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of data integration and ETL solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Manage team deliverables, resource planning, and project timelines.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and project managers to ensure successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot complex data and ETL issues and provide effective solutions.
• Support production deployments and resolve critical incidents.

🎯 Mandatory Skills

SQL (Strong Expertise Required)

• Advanced SQL coding and performance tuning experience.
• Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and optimize large datasets.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database concepts.
• Candidate will undergo a SQL Coding Test.

ETL & Data Integration

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL development and data migration projects.
• Expertise in designing and implementing ETL workflows and pipelines.
• Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes.

Talend

• Strong development experience using Talend Data Integration.
• Experience building complex Talend jobs, reusable components, and error-handling frameworks.
• Knowledge of Talend performance optimization and deployment best practices.

Snowflake

• Strong experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture, data loading, transformation, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Snowflake security, access controls, and data sharing.

👥 Leadership & Requirement Gathering

• Proven experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• Ability to conduct workshops and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
• Strong team management, task allocation, and performance management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
