Staff Technical Product Manager

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of <strong>business processes, data modeling, and technical execution</strong>. You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding customer workflows, documenting requirements, and collaborating with engineering to translate them into scalable solutions.</p> <ul> <li>Discovery &amp; Requirements Gathering</li> <ul> <li>Map and document complex collector and admin workflows end-to-end.</li> <li>Partner with customers, operations, and onboarding teams to uncover detailed business requirements.</li> <li>Identify edge cases, regulatory considerations, and data dependencies.</li> </ul> <li>Technical Translation &amp; Data Modeling</li> <ul> <li>Translate business requirements into clear, technical product specs consumable by engineering.</li> <li>Work with engineers to design robust data models.</li> <li>Ensure data integrity across integrations with third-party systems.</li> </ul> <li>Integration Ownership</li> <ul> <li>Lead roadmap planning for third-party integrations (Skip Tracing, Letter Vendors, Payment Portals, ERP, etc.).</li> <li>Define requirements for API-based integrations, error handling, and sync frequency.</li> <li>Drive consistency across integration frameworks and reusability of components.</li> </ul> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration</li> <ul> <li>Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineers, ensuring clarity of requirements and tradeoff decisions.</li> <li>Collaborate and prototype workflow UIs that map to underlying technical complexity.</li> </ul> <li>Execution &amp; Delivery</li> <ul> <li>Own feature lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration.</li> <li>Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and data flow documentation.</li> <li>Partner with engineers to validate data flows and integration edge cases.</li> </ul> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <p>We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager who is also a technologist — someone who understands how software works under the hood.</p> <p>You’ll be our first product hire and work closely with the founding team to build a world-class automation platform.&nbsp;</p> <p>We need someone who’s shipped software, understands databases and SaaS architecture, and can talk code (or even write it).</p> <ul> <li>Bring technical intuition to product design. Understand how databases, APIs, and frontends work together.
