<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p>
<p>You will join a smart, collaborative, and passionate team of recruiters who take pride in the craft of finding and keeping great talent. As a Technical Recruiter, you act as the bridge between Moniepoint’s innovative engineering goals and the people who build them. You will partner directly with engineering leaders to own the end-to-end recruitment journey. The ideal candidate is someone who doesn't just "fill roles" but understands the technology and cares deeply about the human experience behind every application</p>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, from initial job intake and sourcing to interviewing, offer negotiation, and successful onboarding.</li>
<li>Strategic Sourcing: Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse pipelines for current and future engineering needs.</li>
<li>Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, helping them define technical requirements and providing data-driven insights on the talent market.</li>
<li>Candidate Advocacy: Ensure every candidate has a clear, respectful, and high-quality experience, regardless of the outcome.</li>
<li>Process Innovation: Identify ways to improve hiring workflows, from better screening techniques to more efficient interviewing panels.</li>
<li>Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Moniepoint in the tech community, sharing the mission to create financial happiness through technology.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>5-7 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years focused specifically on technical roles (Engineering, Product, Data).</li>
<li>Proven track record of hiring in fast-paced tech environments or high-growth scale-ups.</li>
<li>Deep experience in full-life-cycle recruitment, including complex offer negotiations and stakeholder management.</li>
<li>Experience with both agency and in-house recruitment is preferred.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience hiring across multiple geographies (e.g., Nigeria, UK, India).</li>
<li>Background in fintech or banking environments.</li>
<li>Familiarity with technical assessment platforms and competency-based interviewing.</li>
