We’re seeking a highly skilled Network & Cloud Technical Specialist to join a high-performing Enterprise team operating within a 24/7 NOC environment for an initial 6 month fixed term contract, with a possibility for extension.

This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, and resilience of enterprise network services, supporting large-scale customer environments across cloud, data centre, and network infrastructure. You’ll work across incident management, proactive monitoring, optimisation, and customer engagement—directly influencing service outcomes for enterprise customers.

Requirements

What you'll be doing

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of incidents, problems, changes, and service requests
• Actively manage high-severity incidents (P1/P2) with urgency and precision
• Ensure SLA compliance and service continuity at all times
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent fixes

Proactive Monitoring & Optimisation

• Monitor and manage enterprise networks to identify and resolve issues before impact
• Optimise network performance, scalability, and resilience
• Perform security vulnerability patching and system upgrades

Technical Delivery

• Support service provider and data centre network infrastructure
• Deliver across:
• Routing & Switching
• SD-WAN & Network Security
• Cloud & multi-cloud networking
• Compute, storage, and virtualization environments

Technical Environment

You will work across a diverse enterprise stack including:

• Networking: Cisco, Juniper, Meraki, Aruba, SD-WAN, Fortinet, Palo Alto
• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, VMware
• Systems: Windows, Linux
• Storage & Backup: NetApp, Commvault
• Load Balancing: F5, Netscaler
• Monitoring/Tools: SolarWinds, Splunk, ServiceCentral, Magpie

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizen with active NV1 clearance (or higher) – mandatory
• 5+ years in network/infrastructure engineering
• 3+ years in a customer-facing NOC / managed services environment
• Strong hands-on expertise across:
• Routing, Switching, SD-WAN
• Network security
• Data centre and cloud infrastructure
• Experience within ITIL/ITSM frameworks
• Proven track record meeting SLA commitments
• Ability to work in a 24/7 rotating shift + on-call environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
