Think of it as paying it forward💡</p> <p>As a <strong>Technical Vetting Contractor</strong>, you’ll help assess real candidates looking for tech jobs by reviewing tech assessments and conducting technical interviews. Only free to do one tech assessment per week? That's fine. Want to do two every day? Great! This is a flexible arrangement that allows you to commit as much time as you're able.</p> <p>This role is for you if you care about raising the bar in tech, and like the idea of being part of a community that values quality, fairness, and great engineering,</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Conduct candidate technical vetting. <ul> <li>Reviewing AI generated Assessments for specific positions.</li> <li>Review &amp; Grade candidate assessment submissions.</li> <li>Conduct technical Interviews with candidates who pass the assessment.</li> <li>Provide summaries (write-ups) of the candidate that can be submitted to the Customer.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provide feedback to the Head of Technical Vetting on our technical vetting rigour and process.</li> <li>Collaborate with the product team to improve platform tools and insights for tech vetting.</li> <li>Document and maintain guidelines for assessments, scoring, and summaries.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Technical assessment ability</strong>: Strong judgment in evaluating assignment submissions and conducting technical interviews across multiple tech stacks.</li> <li><strong>Attention to detail</strong>: Accurate, high-quality assessments and summaries. Identifies subtle signals in technical skills (eg: code, process flow, automation) and communication.</li> <li><strong>Interviewing skills:</strong> Can run structured technical interviews that assess both hard skills and problem-solving approaches.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Background:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years as a senior tech professional, we're on the look out for: <ul> <li>Senior Software Engineers, Leads or Managers with experience in C++, and/or, C#/.NET, and/or MERN stack, and/or Golang</li> <li>Senior Data Engineers (or Leads, Managers)</li> <li>Senior Data Scientists, Data Analysts&nbsp; (or Leads, Managers)</li> <li>Senior DevOps / Platform Engineers (or Leads, Managers)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Extensive experience conducting technical interviews and reviewing assessments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to identify high-quality candidates.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>The OfferZen Story</strong></h2> <p><a href="https://www.offerzen.com/">OfferZen</a> is on a mission to connect every developer with opportunities to build an awesome future.
