This role spans prototype build, validation, and field issue resolution, requiring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. <h1>Key Responsibilities</h1> <ul> <li>Lead assembly and teardown of HV battery modules and packs, including cell integration, busbar and coolant systems, enclosure sealing, and diagnostic inspection.</li> <li>Support validation and lifecycle tests, operating automation systems, CAN-based tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.</li> <li>Analyze test data, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide feedback to engineering for design and process improvements.</li> <li>Investigate and resolve high-priority HV battery concerns, supporting R&D teams.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams on battery related projects.</li> <li>Mentor and train junior technicians, driving adherence to safety and best practices.</li> <li>Identify and implement improvements across build and test processes to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.</li> </ul> <h1>Qualifications</h1> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in automotive, EV, or HV battery systems as a technician.</li> <li>Associate’s degree in a technical field, ASE certification, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Proficiency in HV battery assembly, electrical diagnostics, CAN communication, and safe handling practices.</li> <li>High voltage certification strongly preferred.</li> <li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, mentor peers, and interface cross-functionally.</li> <li>Flexible to work varied shifts and travel up to ~20%.</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite and technical reporting tools.</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
