This position will also provide hands-on training for new and experienced employees. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Report To:&nbsp;</strong> Supervisor, Equipment</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot causes of mechanical and electrical errors.</li> <li>Analyze equipment log data in MES system for problem solving</li> <li>Repair and maintain operating condition machinery or equipment</li> <li>Maintain standard processes and procedures in order to provide consistency across personnel and shifts</li> <li>Provide initial and continuous hands-on training for new employees in equipment functions, features, and repairs.</li> <li>Record performed repairs and maintenance histories</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers, shift leaders, and section leaders to create more efficient processes</li> <li>Demonstrate leadership skills leading meetings when operating procedure training is involved</li> <li>Lead tours for new employees and visiting vendors</li> <li>Draft blueprints and read schematic, mechanical and electrical diagrams</li> <li>Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions</li> <li>Read and fulfill work orders</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards <ul> <li>Sort, Set-in-order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain</li> <li>Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in production/plant environment.</li> <li>High School Diploma/General Educational Development or higher degree required.</li> <li>Exposure to dry-room environments with gowning and PPE requirement.</li> <li>Associate degree preferred or relevant work experience.</li> <li>Vocational certification (i.e., journeyperson) *preferred but not required.</li> <li>Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience *preferred but not required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Technical mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience.</li> <li>Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). <ul> <li>Safety glasses.</li> <li>Steel-toed shoes.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Must be able to do the following repeatedly. <ul> <li>Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Stoop, twist, bend.</li> <li>Reach overhead.</li> <li>Sit and/or stand.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Production processes.</li> <li>Troubleshooting.</li> <li>Problem-solving.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why should you work here?</span></p> <p>1.
