Principal Technician- Urban Development

• Providing quality delivery of the designs using 12D and / or Civil 3D  
• Successfully manage, plan, resource and complete assigned modelling projects within agreed budgets and deadlines 
• Assisting the Project Manager in determining the drafting & other design resources required for a project plan including elements suitable for outsourcing 
• Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project 
• Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues 
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers and drafters within other disciplines.  

• Relevant Engineering degree and/ or certifications 
• At least 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience in the application of 12D and / or Civil 3D software using your in-depth knowledge of civil design standards 
• Experience using various software programs such as 12d and 12d Synergy AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ACC Docs 
• Design knowledge in road design, earthworks / grading design and utilities design 
• Excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how 
• Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings.
