<h3><span>Modernization Technology Consultant Senior </span></h3><p><b>About the role and what you'll be doing</b></p><p>Are you ready to step into a leadership role on an engineering team that is helping to modernize clients’ mainframe solutions? In this role, you will be working with a team of experts responsible for delivering a quality product to the client on schedule. ExperSolve, an Ensono company, migrates legacy applications to modern platforms, such as Java Spring and C# .NET, using automated tools. The Senior Modernization Software Engineer will be responsible for taking the lead on projects, developing the core classes for the client’s modernized environment, and interfacing with customers.</p><p>For local applicants, there will be opportunities to work with the team offshore in India (Pune/Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad), but this position can be remote as well.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Leading client meetings and interaction, being the relentless ally for the client and unleashing them to do great things</li><li>Applying Java or C# coding skills in an Eclipse or Visual Studio modernization environment</li><li>Developing our core Java or C# libraries for modernized environments</li><li>Assume technical leadership on projects to test modernized code to ensure it is performing as intended.</li><li>Ensure that problems are appropriately analyzed, and code corrections and improvements properly implemented.</li><li>Providing consultation and teachable moments to more junior members of the team</li></ul><p><b>We want all new Associates to succeed in their roles at Ensono. If you do not meet all the Preferred Qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.</b></p><p><b>Required Qualifications </b>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>5+ years of coding experience in Java or C#, SQL</li><li>Experience in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting</li><li>Problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills</li><li>Experience with -<ul><li>Object-oriented programming in Java, C#, or similar languages</li><li>Eclipse or Visual Studio</li><li>Spring or .NET</li><li>Relational Databases (SQL/MYSQL/ORACLE)</li></ul></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Experience in mentoring junior colleagues on the team</li><li>Familiar with AWS and Azure cloud technologies</li><li>Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience</li><li>Familiarity with legacy languages or databases - Mainframe, IDEAL, COBOL, CICS, JCL,Datacom,DB2</li></ul><p><b>Primary Location City/State:</b></p><p>Pune, IN - Qubix, Maharashtra</p>
