Technology Engineer - DevOps & Data Platforms

We are looking for a highly skilled Technology Engineer with strong expertise in DevOps, containerization, and big data technologies to support enterprise-scale digital and data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable infrastructure and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps & CI/CD

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitOps
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes to improve efficiency and reliability

Containerization & Orchestration

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of applications

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure for consistency and scalability

Big Data Engineering

• Architect and implement data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Handle large-scale data processing and streaming pipelines

Distributed Systems

• Design and manage distributed data architectures
• Optimize data storage and processing performance across systems

Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable implementations

Monitoring & Performance Optimization

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Continuously optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency

Security & Compliance

• Ensure infrastructure and data platforms follow security best practices
• Maintain compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Proficiency in Terraform / Ansible (IaC tools)
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services domain
• Knowledge of GitOps practices
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
