Technology Lawyer

<h4><span style="font-size: 12pt;">We are currently seeking several skilled <strong>Technology Lawyers</strong> to work with our client, <strong>Google</strong>, on an exciting long-term engagement.</span></h4> <h4><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Provide legal advice to teams from Research &amp; Development, Marketing and Engineering, Product Management, Advertising Sales, Marketing &amp; Communications from the initial stages of product development to launch.</li> <li>Drafting, reviewing and negotiating technology contracts such as Cloud/SaaS agreements.</li> <li>Support business teams by building consensus on projects from design to launch, including new features, products and services, and programs.</li> <li>Review global products, features, and platforms to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies focused on company goals.</li> <li>Remain up to date on relevant industry, data privacy, consumer protection, and advertising laws and regulations to ensure an ongoing ability to provide thoughtful and relevant advice.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h4><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Minimum Qualifications:</span></strong></h4> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience at a top law firm and/or in-house department as product, technology, commercial, privacy, or IP counsel; engineers with a law degree also encouraged to apply</li> <li>Experience taking on complex projects</li> <li>Called to bar in Ontario&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h4><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Preferred Qualifications</span>:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Experience working in-house for a large technology company.</li> <li>Experience partnering with the R&amp;D team and engineers.</li> <li>Held the title Product Counsel and launched a product.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Compensation:</strong></h4> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per year<strong> </strong>and for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year.
