Senior Telecom Engineer

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecom Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of telecommunication systems for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. The role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication networks that meet project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee telecom systems including voice, data, and video networks.
• Coordinate with project teams to integrate telecom infrastructure with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with local and international telecom standards and regulations.
• Manage installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of telecommunication equipment.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for telecom works.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of telecom solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in telecom engineering within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience with telecom standards and protocols, such as SIP, VoIP, fiber optics, and wireless technologies.
• Proficiency in telecom design software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian telecom regulations and project management processes is a plus.
