Job Title: Telecom QA Engineer (Manual Testing) – Mid/Senior Level Key Skills: SIP, Wireshark, Telecom Testing, TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, Test Case Writing. Location: Campinas - SP Mode: Hybrid We at Coforge are hiring Telecom QA Engineer (Manual Testing) with the following skill set. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and interoperability testing for voice services on optical network termination equipment (ONTs).</li><li>Validate SIP signaling flows and voice call scenarios using packet analysis tools.</li><li>Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot issues using Wireshark and protocol traces.</li><li>Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports.</li><li>Perform end-to-end validation of voice services over IP networks.</li><li>Work closely with developers, automation engineers, and QA teams located in Brazil and the United States.</li><li>Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects through their complete lifecycle.</li><li>Participate in laboratory setup, configuration, and maintenance of telecom testing environments.</li><li>Validate network behavior involving TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, DHCP, DNS, and related protocols.</li><li>Support verification of embedded software running on telecommunications devices.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.</li><li>Collaborate with automation teams and contribute to automation initiatives when applicable.</li></ul> Required Skills & Qualifications<ul><li>Experience as a Manual QA Engineer or Telecom Test Engineer.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).</li><li>Experience using Wireshark for packet capture and protocol analysis.</li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, UDP, and RTP.</li><li>Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.</li><li>Knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot network and voice service issues.</li><li>Experience working with embedded devices or hardware-based platforms.</li><li>Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English for collaboration with international teams.</li></ul> Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Linux Command Line Interface (CLI).</li><li>Jira or similar defect management tools.</li><li>Test Planning and Test Execution.</li><li>Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP).</li><li>Megaco/H.248.</li><li>Telecom laboratory testing environments.</li><li>Root cause analysis and troubleshooting.</li><li>Test Automation using Python.</li><li>Robot Framework.</li><li>Asterisk / FreePBX administration and troubleshooting.</li><li>DHCP, DNS, FTP, and TFTP server configuration.</li><li>TR-069 protocol knowledge.</li><li>SIPp for SIP traffic generation and validation.</li><li>Experience with VoIP infrastructure and carrier-grade telecommunications solutions.</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD and automated testing practices.</li><li>Knowledge of broadband and fiber access network technologies.</li></ul> Posted On: 16-06-2026 At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.
