If you're driven to build rugged, reliable<br>products that solve real-world problems, we'd love to talk.</p> <p><strong>Position Overview: </strong>At Noble Machines, building and operating robots is a team sport. We are seeking skilled<br>Robotics Teleoperators &amp; Data Collection Specialists to bridge the gap between human<br>capability and robotic intelligence. In this role, you will be the operator and trainer for our<br>developmental and deployed systems, directly controlling our multipurpose robots to perform<br>complex manual tasks, evaluating their physical capabilities, and gathering high-quality<br>behavioral data to train our robot learning and AI models.<br>This role offers unique flexibility in scheduling and presents a massive opportunity for growth.<br>For the right candidate, this position can evolve into a Test and Evaluation Engineer, a Team<br>Leadership/Operations role, or other technical trajectories within our rapidly growing operations<br>team.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Robot Teleoperation: Master the remote operation and control of complex robotic systems<br>(using VR headsets, specialized controllers, or haptic devices) to successfully execute diverse,<br>unstructured manipulation and mobility tasks.</li> <li>Data Collection &amp; Curation: Execute high-fidelity data collection sessions to capture<br>human-demonstrated behaviors, ensuring clean data pipelines for machine learning and<br>behavioral cloning models.</li> <li>Physical Skill Evaluation: Push our robotic platforms to their physical limits, testing and<br>evaluating their dexterity, strength, and adaptability in simulated and real-world environments.</li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with hardware, software, and AI engineers to<br>provide critical qualitative feedback on robot ergonomics, control latency, and physical<br>limitations.</li> <li>Field &amp; Lab Support: Assist with setting up testing environments, managing robot hardware, and<br>documenting edge cases or system failures during operations. Opportunities for travel and client<br>facing operation rolls.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional Hand-Eye Coordination: Strong spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and rapid reflex<br>capabilities sometimes demonstrated through high-level gaming, RC drone piloting, precision<br>machining,sports, or other complex physical trades.</li> <li>Technical Aptitude: Comfort working around complex hardware, basic computer troubleshooting,<br>and interacting with terminal software or basic robotics interfaces.<br>Detail-Oriented &amp; Methodical: Ability to follow strict testing protocols and repeatedly execute<br>exact motions or tasks.<br>Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate subtle<br>physical feedback and edge-case anomalies to engineering teams.<br>Adaptability: Excited by a fast-paced startup environment where daily tasks can change based<br>on the team's current development sprint.<br>Truly exceptional talent will have experience with some or all of the following:<br>Experience with VR interfaces, haptic control systems, or gaming peripherals.<br>Familiarity with Linux environments, ROS/ROS2, or Python scripting.<br>Prior experience in hardware testing, quality assurance, or data annotation.<br>Background or interest in heavy industry, construction, or mechanical systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Clear Career Growth: Direct pathways into Test &amp; Evaluation Engineering, operational<br>leadership, or data management.</li> <li>Flexible Scheduling: Open to part-time or full-time configurations (3 to 5 days a week) tailored to<br>your skill development and availability.</li> <li>Cutting-Edge Impact: A firsthand role in training the next generation of industrial, multi-purpose<br>AI robotics.</li> </ul>
