Sotheby’s new global headquarters is now open at the iconic Breuer building at 945 Madison Avenue in New York City.</p></div><p></p> <p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>Sotheby’s is looking for a Client Experience Coordinator based in Hong Kong.&nbsp; As an integral part of the Client Experience team, the Client Experience Coordinator supports clients through the post-sale process delivering excellent client service in accordance with best business practice and Company policy.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure post-auction process and service level agreements (SLAs) are delivered in a timely and professional manner</li> <li>Provide support to clients on a day-to-day basis such as assisting in phone, email, arranging shipping payment, and in-person enquiries in a timely manner</li> <li>Issue timely and accurate client communications</li> <li>Work with Shipping Coordinator to organize shipping quotes and deliveries</li> <li>Ensure financial transactions comply with corporate governance</li> <li>Partner with other business areas to respond to client inquiries, resolve client issues and execute client transactions to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction</li> <li>Manage property releases for non-sale inventory</li> <li>Participate in ad hoc projects</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in business administration or equivalent field preferred</li> <li>1-2 years’ relevant work experience</li> <li>Exceptional client service skills including strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Operationally minded with an appetite for technology</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage challenging deadlines</li> <li>Creative problem solver with ability to act quickly and effectively under pressure</li> <li>Highly organized and detail oriented</li> <li>Logical and practical thinking, with excellent resourcefulness and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – prior experience with SAP is preferable</li> <li>Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin essential.
