Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor federal, state, and local procurement websites for relevant traffic control opportunities.
- Review and analyze RFP/RFQ documents to understand scope of work and submission requirements.
- Maintain a database of standard company documents (COIs, licenses, safety manuals) for quick inclusion in bids.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Finance departments to obtain pricing and technical data.
- Draft, edit, and format proposal content to ensure a professional and polished final product.
- Ensure all bids are submitted on time and in full compliance with the client's instructions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Higher education in Law, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preffered).
- 1+ years of experience in proposal writing, grant writing, or business development (preferred).
- Experience with government portals (state procurement sites) is a major plus. (preferred, not mandatory for strong junior candidates).
- Strong research skills to identify relevant bidding opportunities.
- High attention to detail (RFP compliance requires following strict formatting and submission rules).
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Word/Excel) and Adobe PDF (for document assembly).
