<p><strong>About This Role</strong></p>
<p>The Test Engineer owns test infrastructure and supports test design, setup, and operations to validate hardware developed by the design engineers. This position validates that all hardware designs meet requirements during development and ensures long-term system and hardware reliability.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain custom test solutions and data acquisition systems for in-house developed mechanical and electrical hardware.</li>
<li>Lead design reviews, run data analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans.</li>
<li>Work closely with responsible design and manufacturing engineers to drive reliability improvements</li>
<li>Build test equipment, implement test automation, analyze failures and execute qualification campaigns.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or similar engineering field.</li>
<li>2–3 years of experience in hardware development, test engineering, or similar role.</li>
<li>Ability to design and fabricate test fixtures, adapters, and other tools needed for testing.</li>
<li>Experience with digital-hardware communication/integration.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Skills and Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li data-renderer-start-pos="4">Experience performing finite element analysis (FEA).</li>
<li data-renderer-start-pos="4">Experience with test equipment (data acquisition, instrumentation, pumps, valves, and automation).</li>
<li data-renderer-start-pos="4">Experience with the building and testing of fluid and/or electrical systems.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></p>
<p>The base salary range for this role is <strong>$80,000-$170,000 </strong>annually. </p>
<p>Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. <span data-teams="true">Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors.</span> In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.</p>
