Test Engineer with TS/SCI Poly

<p><strong>What Impact You'll Have</strong></p> <p>Are you a skilled and experienced test engineer who loves to ensure the quality and reliability of software products and integrated systems?&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll be Owning</strong></p> <ul> <li>As a test engineer, you will be responsible for: soliciting requirements and translating them into test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria</li> <li>Performing functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and performance testing at component and system levels</li> <li>Reporting, tracking, and resolving software defects and issues using bug tracking tools such as Jira and GitLab</li> <li>Working across multiple development teams and priorities to help ensure product quality, usability, and mission readiness</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Must Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active TS/SCI with CI Poly&nbsp;</li> <li>At least 3 years of functional/system-level software testing, preferably working in Linux environments</li> <li>Resourcefulness and ability to dig into complex technical concept of operations to derive technical and test requirements</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working directly with development teams to understand system requirements, defining test plans and test cases from scratch</li> <li>Desire to work in a dynamic team environment supporting multiple and disparate development efforts at the same time</li> <li>Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices</li> <li>Experience authoring and presenting test reports; summarizing test results, anomalies, discrepancies, and configuration changes</li> <li>Familiarity with integrated development environment (IDE), such as Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, Eclipse, etc.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize scope of work, communicate clearly - both orally and written, and have a consistent track record of delivery</li> </ul> <p><strong>What Would be Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with software configuration management processes, understanding of software components and their interface requirements</li> <li>Developing and executing automated tests using RobotFramework, Selenium, or similar tools</li> <li>Comfort using Linux command line interface to execute commands, inspect log messages, and evaluate system performance during testing</li> <li>Familiarity with GitLab, Centos Linux, and/or Rocky Linux</li> <li>Familiarity with Jira or similar product management or issue tracking tool</li> <li>Familiarity with Confluence or similar collaboration and documentation tool</li> </ul> <p>#LI-PS1</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p id="isPasted"><strong>Why Choose GRVTY</strong></p> <hr> <p>The toughest national security challenges demand vision and ingenuity, not just resources.
