About the role
Test Technician to support the testing and validation of products, components, and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing test procedures, documenting results, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure product reliability and compliance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, environmental, and performance tests on products and components.
- Set up and operate test equipment and instrumentation.
- Record and analyze test data, identify deviations, and report findings.
- Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of test failures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures and results.
- Support engineering teams in prototype evaluations and product development.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and testing protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical certification required; associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a testing or quality assurance role.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or environmental testing methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with data entry and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated test systems or LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems.
- Basic soldering and assembly skills.
