TikTok Shop Operations Manager
Job Overview
As a TikTok Shop Operations Manager at Modern AI, you will own the operational health, promotion execution, and performance optimization of our TikTok Shop channels across multiple brand partners. This role is responsible for keeping products live, compliant, and optimized, while building repeatable systems to continuously improve Shop Performance Score (SPS) and overall revenue.
This is a platform operations role. You will not be responsible for creating images, videos, or ad creative.
Key Responsibilities
TikTok Shop Operations & Health
- Own the day-to-day operation of multiple TikTok Shops
- Ensure all products are live, approved, compliant, and in good standing
- Proactively monitor violations, warnings, suppression risks, and SPS-related health signals
- Resolve listing and compliance issues quickly to protect account standing
Product, Promotion & Listing Management
- Manage product listings including titles, descriptions, pricing, availability, and promotions
- Own the setup and execution of discounts, flash sales, vouchers, bundles, and seasonal offers
- Ensure promotional activity is compliant with TikTok Shop policies and does not negatively impact shop health
- Implement merchandising best practices to support discoverability and conversion
SPS Optimization & Systems
- Own Shop Performance Score (SPS) and all contributing metrics (fulfillment, cancellations, refunds, customer experience, compliance)
- Build and maintain a repeatable system for monitoring, improving, and protecting SPS across shops
- Identify root causes of SPS drops and implement corrective actions
- Partner with fulfillment and customer support teams to resolve issues impacting SPS
Inventory & Availability Oversight
- Monitor inventory availability to prevent out-of-stock, oversell, or cancellation issues
- Coordinate with internal teams and fulfillment partners to maintain accurate stock levels
- Flag risks that could negatively impact cancellations, delivery SLAs, or SPS
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Track KPIs including GMV, conversion rate, refunds, cancellations, delivery performance, and SPS
- Analyze trends to identify operational, promotional, or listing-level optimization opportunities
- A/B test offers, pricing, bundles, and promotional mechanics (not creative assets)
- Produce regular reports with clear insights and recommendations
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct routine audits to ensure listings adhere to TikTok Shop policies and SPS standards
- Stay current on TikTok Shop policy changes, enforcement trends, and best practices
- Act as the internal expert on TikTok Shop compliance and SPS requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creative, marketing, customer service, and fulfillment teams to ensure alignment
- Ensure promotions are supported by inventory, fulfillment readiness, and operational execution
- Train internal stakeholders on SPS drivers, promotion best practices, and operational standards
Requirements
- Proven experience managing TikTok Shop or similar marketplace platforms
- Strong understanding of Shop Performance Score (SPS) and TikTok Shop health metrics
- Experience setting up promotions, discounts, and offers inside TikTok Shop
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable diagnosing operational and performance issues using data
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
